Environmental Research Assistant
As an Environmental Research Assistant at A Transição Verde, you will directly contribute to the development and implementation of our climate-smart agroforestry project in Mozambique. This role will support technical research, data analysis, project documentation, and coordination of stakeholder engagement field trips.
A strong interest in sustainable agriculture, climate change mitigation, and carbon markets is essential, with experience in agroforestry projects highly desirable. Candidates should have strong analytical and report-writing skills, with professional fluency in both English and Portuguese. This is a full-time position based at our office in Costa do Sol (Maputo), Mozambique.
Climate Policy & Research Assistant
As a Climate Policy & Research Assistant, you will conduct research and analysis related to international climate policy and carbon markets while directly contributing to the development and implementation of our climate-smart agroforestry project in Mozambique.
A strong interest in international climate policy and sustainable agriculture is essential for this role, with a demonstrated understanding of carbon standards (e.g., Verra VCS, Gold Standard), GHG accounting, and Article 6 frameworks being highly advantageous. Candidates should have strong analytical and report-writing skills, with professional fluency in both English and Portuguese. This is a full-time position based at our office in Costa do Sol (Maputo), Mozambique.
